Managing Director

Elliot Knight is the co-founder and Managing Director of Knight Crawford, a leading commercial property investment firm he established with Shane Crawford in 2017. Under his leadership, Knight Crawford has emerged as a specialist in adaptive re-use projects, transforming under-utilised commercial assets across New Zealand's prime metropolitan markets.

With a strategic focus on Auckland's high-growth suburban corridors, Elliot has built a diversified portfolio of commercial properties positioned to capitalise on infrastructure developments and urban densification trends. His approach combines deep market insight with innovative repositioning strategies to unlock long-term value for investors.

Prior to founding Knight Crawford, Elliot served as a development manager overseeing large-scale greenfield housing developments, where he led multidisciplinary teams through complex master-planning and delivery processes. This experience provided him with comprehensive knowledge of development cycles, stakeholder management, and project execution at scale.

Elliot holds a Bachelor of Property from The University of Auckland (2013) and brings over a decade of expertise in property development, investment analysis, and asset management to his role as Managing Director.

Director

Shane co-founded Knight Crawford with Elliot in 2017. Together, they also serve as Directors of the GP of KC Securities LP, a diversified commercial property investor active in direct lending and development across New Zealand.

Prior, Shane held portfolio management and capital raising roles focused on private equity and real estate at both private and listed asset managers in Hong Kong.

Shane graduated from The University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Management and obtained his license for dealing and advising on securities in Hong Kong, where Knight Crawford maintains a presence.

Asset Manager

Ashley oversees the day-to-day management of Knight Crawford’s property portfolio, including maintenance, lease administration, tenant relations, and financial operations.

She holds a Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland and brings a proactive approach to preserving the value and performance of our assets.
